 Daniel I. Lipin, PhD Researcher

Existing nano-particle production systems are not meeting the requirements of low cost, high yield and quick processing times. Processing issues with each of the four main production systems (Bacteria, Yeast & Eukaryotic) prevent them being scaled up to produce and isolate levels of nano-particles where the process becomes economical.

My research concentrates on enabling the manufacture of cost-effective self-assembling nano-particles tailored to cure specific diseases. I will be looking at improving existing production and purification methods to meet this goal.
