The PDSC is conducting a wide ranging questionnaire to ascertain the principal issues and current practices in industrial modelling across the product and process life cycle. It is aimed at informing practitioners and researchers about the state-of-the-art in modelling. It seeks to cover a wide range of industries and consultancies as well as a wide range of applications and tools. This questionnaire follows on from a field study done about 8 years ago by Foss, Lohmann and Marquardt and reported in the Journal of Process Control Vol 8, 325-338, 1998.

Your participation would be appreciated by uploading the questionnaire and distributing it to relevant perople within your organization. The questionnaire should be returned to Prof Ian Cameron at itc@uq.edu.au before April 30, 2005.

All responses are treated anonymously and the consolidated results will be made available to all participants.
