Mammalian Cell Factory

The focus of our group is on the development and use of cutting-edge technologies to improve the production, processing and analysis of recombinant proteins produced by mammalian cell factories.

Our new laboratory at UQ is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to analyse and engineer biological systems: from single genes to the proteome, from single proteins to cell populations.

Current research projects are split into four main fields: proteomics, glycosylation, protein analysis and cell engineering.

Bioengineering research laboratory opening, Wednesday July 24, 2002
